Or block the lemmynsfw instance in your main account, that works too.

How do you block a whole instance? I was under the impression this was a feature that's still missing as of right now.

Some apps have implemented it, I've heard Connect on Android is one of them.

Ohh, that makes sense, thanks for the tip. I'm on Memmy for iOS which doesn't seem to have it, but I'll check out other apps, would be nice to have one with this feature.

Absolutely. If you find one for iOS that supports post it here, I'm sure people would appreciate it.

As of today, Voyager (fka wefwef) has controls for blocking entire instances and also to not blur NSFW images on specified accounts.

Nice, thanks for the tip! I do also have wefwef, I'll check out the new version!

Oh, that's really cool. Voyager is one of my favorite apps so I'm glad to hear it has that functionality.

Instances can block other instances but not users from what I can tell. When I see something I be don't want to regularly see I go to that community and block it, like all of the popular porn communities that often float to the top.

[–] marzipan@lemm.ee 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Right, this is what I've been doing so far, it's just getting a bit annoying to keep blocking communities left and right lol. Really looking forward to the block instance feature.

Plus, navigating your blocked communities becomes slightly disturbing

[–] fushuan@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago

You are right, you need to block individual communities from your non NSFW account. There are not many that pop up in the all feed, and they can be blocked quite fast.
