There are only two genders...

Except for: <giant list of genetic, epigenetic, developmental, etc... things that happen with human beings>.

Not to mention all the other things that happen with other living things

You're kind of missing the point.

Everyone knows there are more than 2 genders. It's an easily falsifiable statement.

It's an incendiary statement designed to foment division.

Yeah, and so are red-heads, Karen. In fact, red-heads are rarer than intersex people. Are red-heads not worthy of basic respect and dignity?

I feel like this statistic is probably taken out of context. Like if you look at all of earth it's probably true, 1.7%. of people being intersex and 1-2% of people having red hair. But in places where people actually* have red hair such as northern and western Europe that goes to 2-6% and reduces to basically 0 in places where people of European heritage don't live. So basically what I'm saying is if you live in a place where you regularly see people with red hair you are probably seeing them more often then you are seeing people who are intersex. And the opposite being true too if you don't regularly see people with red hair you see intersex people much more often. Overall I think it's unhelpful in giving a realistic idea of the comparative amount of intersex people.

i mean historically the answer seems to be that they aren't worthy of basic respect and dignity, no

Have you met many?

[–] Railison@aussie.zone 5 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

There are as many genders as you can think of.

There are two sexes (M/F), but they exist on a continuum rather than a binary.

Also, why are we so obsessed with sex and gender? They want us to be distracted by this bullshit.

Wake up and realise the Class Consciousness!

except it's not even a continuum it's more like a fucking pick and mix bag
