And most of them truly don't play them, just parroting what someone told them or even straight up making shit up about what the game contains.

God, that happened with a friend of mine who we drifted apart during covid. He was never really a feminist in the first place, but started consuming gamer gate shit. Doesn't have time to play games, but likes to listen to outrage.
