Pretty sure security agencies have enough nodes to compromise tor. Try i2p.
very dependant on the VPN. piracy communities have some great tier lists and reccomendations

Literally just get Tor Browser. It's just a browser like any other.
yeah, its firefox with some privacy modifications and all your data gets send through 3 different computers before going to the website, basically just having 3 vpns on. you won't 'accidentally' find the dark web, nor will you have to be able to program to use it or anything. it's just a browser with an inbuilt triple vnp
