Mastodon sounds good for this. Gitlab, github and forgejo are completely inappropriate tools to do a game devlog on often closed-source projects and answer gameplay related questions

We're talking gamedev to player communication, not dev to dev
Omocat omg!!!!
trance and sextrance

I bought it a few months ago and it's still amazing. It's just the most complete version of splatoon 3 you can get. Matchmaking is still very active, and the story is very good, and the dlc is just awesome (it has one of the most special ambiance you could get in a splatoon game)
Shoutout fuuka
I don't even live in America. You should just shut up.
fyi if you're talking about audible sounds it's Hz, or kHz, not mHz :D mine does sound around 8kHz
Tinnitus are sharp sinewaves for me, not white noise
"Keep your private life private" Okay so I can't hold my gf's hand in the street but if I had a bf it would be normal. In some countries I wouldn't be allowed to marry her. Are those issues of making my private life public? A lot of people do care and hate us. Im getting weird looks everytime I'm with her in the street. So shut up about issues you're not concerned with.
I would recommend Omori, or In stars and Time. They are really good RPGmaker games, especially Omori which is like the best psychological horror story ive ever seen. Their gameplay are pretty basic turn based rpg fighting, but their ambiance, characters and world are just incredible
When we are talking about indie dev communication, this is mostly those kind of things that are being referred to. I think we do agree tho that discord was a very bad medium for that.
