Open means "uben" in german so

Free Libre Open Source Software is FLUSS in german and that roughly translates to "fucking" and I think that's beautiful.

That is incredibly wrong

  1. "Uben" doesn't exist.
  2. Open means "offen"
  3. "Fluss" would be river or flow or flux

Open in German is "offen," and Fluss means "river" (or "flux"), so ... no.

The book of German humor is incredibly thin.

No it is not, it as an extremely long book with thousands of pages. It just isn’t funny.

It wasn't funny, but fun for Germans, cause it gave them a chance to correct you and explain their language.
