That sounds like such a cool job. When I was younger, I used to binge-watch so many videos on Forgotten Weapons, even the really obscure ones like the lecture about firearm markings from 1880 to 1945. Then I lost my interest in the subject because I had other things to do, but if I had had the time and opportunities to keep following it, this would've been my dream job. Getting paid to nerd out about your favourite niche hobby. There's probably also a lot of boring stuff he needs to do, paperwork and such, but that'd be worth it.
