I know exactly what the term alpha SHOULD mean...also beta. These billion dollar companies know too but don't give a rats ass. Stop defending these corporations.
If this was Independent development, I wouldn't even be saying anything. Once a billion dollar company enters the scene, the rules are different. I'm done giving a rats ass about what normal should be with these AAAAASA studios.
Like I said, AAAAA does not get a pass on bullshit anymore. Fuck em
Once again. I'm only telling you what alpha means. Since if you think the context changes that definition, you don't know how the word works. No one is getting a pass. If the game sucked in its final version we all should shit on it. That's not remotely what this is
Also why are people who get so angry about gaming stuff the most hard headed mother fuckers on the planet?
It's... A closed alpha that is getting close to zero publicity. it's na actual alpha as an alpha is intended to be.
If it was pay per entry as all those early access steam games are, sure, but this is an actual closed alpha, for testing bugs and balance.
Bruh it's a free secret game. Valve hasn't even announced that the game exists. This is the period in time when alphas normally happen.
