FYI: SuperEyePatchWolf, Amazing youtuber who goes down internet habit holes and disects media. Top tier youtuber who is probably my favourite.
He is awesome, I think the video he did on Garfield is my favorite but he is very consistent in quality.
My favorite part is how Garfield retroactively inserts himself into your past once you notice how widespread he is. Or maybe he just suppressed memories about liking it because Garfield seems cringe at a certain age, and remembering that would be too embarrassing.
I bought too many Garfield comic collections for me to forget liking it, but at least I also loved Calvin and Hobbes which is at the opposite end of the spectrum.
Hate yourself less, Garfield is funny, that's why it's popular.
