Havn't seen anyone speak about the Sony WH-1000XM3 yet. Obviously not as an "audiophile" product, but I've been a happy user for 5 years. Worth every penny.

5 years

Well, fuck you for making me realize how time is passing (I have the XM2 set for occasional use & never realized it has been that long).

I'm absolutely not going to think about the age of my other headsets I probably think are only 'a few years old'.

Mine sadly fell apart after a few years. Got the xm5 and it's even better! Just don't like that they don't fold up, and the case they came in was shot and fell apart after 2 months.

The xm3 broke near where the head size adjustment is right? Mine did too, on both sides and a little super glue fixed them. I've used them almost daily since 2019.

Yea they did. I ended up just giving them to my dad and he fixed them I think. I was interested in upgrading anyway because I really wanted the head detection to automatically turn them off.

Yah, they're really nice. But them not folding up annoys me so goddamn much.they take up way too much space so I end up with them hanging around my neck all the time, which can become uncomfortable.

They're pretty nice I even replaced their batteries but I'm not sure if that's still possible/as easy with the newer models
