Not offended. It's more fair than Hitler being in hell, frankly. Assuming a god that's remotely similar to anything humans have typically dreamed up, having an afterlife set up to give infinite torture is insane:
So I'd be perfectly fine with finding Hitler in heaven. He's not able to hurt anyone any more, that's the important thing.
It really is a dumb idea. It kind of made sense for its original intention of creating a place of punishment for the old gods of conquered peoples (Tartarus) - eternal punishment for eternal beings and all that. But then when it gets syncretized into Judaism's monotheism around the time Christianity is getting on its feet the whole concept is just silly.
It's pretty wild that Enoch didn't end up canonized given the influence it had on early Christianity. That shit makes Revelations look tame.
The Ethiopian and Eritrean churches (non-Chalcedonian, Oriental Orthodox) actually do hold 1 Enoch to be canonical scripture.
Neville Chamberlain, is that you? This is how you get the Holycaust.
If he could hurt other people then they wouldn't be in Heaven. Seems like the problem has been resolved, he's completely disarmed now.
I do love a good pun
