I'm playing Disco Elysium. It's made me laugh more than I thought it would for a bleak looking detective game.
This game doesn't look that it could make anyone laugh... One of the reason I still haven't played it is because it looks too bleak and depressing, and I haven't been able to get myself in the mindset to play such a game.
The writing and dialog choices can be really funny at times, but yes the backdrop of the game is very bleak and cold. I had to wait till I was in a good place before I tried it.
