BEST TV show? Hmmm.... Better Call Saul, The West Wing, The Leftovers, The Wire, Friends
The Wire, what a good show
Ooh, yeah. @Kyrgizion@lemmy.world brought up Dark. One of THE best shows. Even if the first season was better than the other two, the whole series was phenomenal.
We seem to have very similar taste. Haven’t heard of leftovers before, thanks!
The Leftovers was great. The book was a good read too. It's a unique concept (or felt like one at the time). And Justin Theroux is awesome.
The leftovers is the best written show on television, ever.
It isn’t easy to get through, it doesn’t hold your hand, it doesn’t give you the answers you think you want, and it doesn’t address any of the mysteries it raises.
And somehow every other TV show feels like Blues Clues by comparison. It’s fucking phenomenal in a way no other television has ever even come close to.
Thanks for the review, seems right up my alley. I loved dark, and it sounds like there are similarities.
Season 2 is a masterpiece of show making. Nothing else quite like it which is quite an achievement in these media saturated times.
