Somehow I never liked breakfast, as a kid I'd try to avoid it if possible.

Over the last couple of years I pushed it even further and most of the time I only eat dinner.

Sorry for the uneducated downvotes, but some have yet to even hear about OMAD. ๐Ÿค—

They didn't ask how to be anorexic

But everyone's telling me how great I look!

I have the problem the other way around with a BMI of 35.7

BMI is a misleading measure. Body fat percentage is what you should be using.

[โ€“] jeena@jemmy.jeena.net 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Sure. But you're missing the main point while nitpicking.

I don't know why you think I'm being nit-picky. OP is looking for foods that have:

  • high satiety index
  • high nutritional value
  • less complex prep

At least to me, it looks like you're missing the main point here. You're promoting a diet that could possibly be a fad. It looks like some type of extreme intermittent fasting.

And about the BMI, I'm merely informing you that it does not take anything else into factor, like bone density, muscle mass, sex, age or ethnicity. Body fat percentage is a real formula used by dieticians. I'm not trying to mock your diet choices or your weight, I am overweight myself, have been since I was a kid.

Yes, but BMI misses in the other direction much more often. If you are overweight by BMI you are probably overfat.

Waist to height is the easiest and most accurate measure, actually.

I don't think suggesting trying just skipping breakfast if you don't want to eat in the morning is silly. Waiting till lunch is one way to handle not having time to prepare breakfast. Not what OP asked for but not off topic either.
