I don’t know what removed is a substitute for or why they didn’t just use the original word: there are no algorithms here to circumvent.
Lemmy.ml added them at some point I think, because when I checked over on their instance they were using the r-slur
I had to google r-slur.
I think it’s safe to assume that you think of yourself as a conservative, a centrist, or a “liberal”, and all of those are liberalism:
Now you know why we use the word liberal with a seemingly broad brush: we are using its original meaning, as people in continental Europe generally still do.
I don’t know what removed is euphemizing, or why you’d euphemize it on a platform that has no algorithms to circumvent.
It's hilarious that you assume I'm an American.
