I would say stalinism (which is what tankies are so enamored with) is very conservative or even reactionary from a social point of view, even if it's not from an economic perspective.

What is conservative economics anyway? It seems to mostly consist of lying about economic competence and fiscal responsibility combined with tax cuts for the rich and general corruption judging by the actual conservative parties in most countries.
