Talk about whatever, respecting the rules established by Lemmygrad. Failing to comply with the rules will grant you a few warnings, insisting on breaking them will grant you a beautiful shiny banwall.

I made an account on lemmy.ml today, and I was planning to simply use this account as a general-purpose account to browse all contents in the fediverse. But, considering the small size of the communities in lemmygrad.ml compared to other mainstream communities in lemmy.ml and lemmy.world, I can't really see any lemmygrad.ml contents on my feed unless I manually go into the individual communities here.

So my question is, is there a way to filter my feed on command to only see lemmygrad.ml posts from my lemmy.ml account? Or would it be viable to make a separate lemmygrad.ml account and alternate between accounts? How are you guys approaching this?

I also wanna see contents from other communities and instances but it's just that lemmygrad contents were way too underrepresented in my feed. I guess I'll just create another account here in lemmygrad and alternate whenever.

It'd be nice if they added an option to view contents solely from another specific instance that I'm not technically a part of, besides the "global" "local" and "subscribed" options

I think that would be neat too!

i want to consume lemmygrad content, having an account will allow me to browse grad locally and bookmark posts but i couldnt get an account because i couldnt tell what type of idiologies grad admins allow: i said leninist, they said they allow marxist-leninist only or whatever..i am just a normie trying to lurk around and waste my free time, previous account got permabanned for a comment that apparently didn't align with mod ideology. My connect app allows lemmygrad browsing in local as a guest but the app doesnt mark scrolled posts as read and doesn't hide them and also can't bookmark posts since i dont have an account. I ll try to reach out to Connect dev and see what he can do, since he welcomes new feature requests and alot of the times he implements them, and he is overall flexible in this regard

What was your username? Ban reasons are transparent in the mod log.

i know its transparent. i called out Bashar Al Assad (spontaneously, i dont care much about geopolitics), but apparently grad admins do care, so i got yeeted

Ok, seems like a fair reason for a ban.

i am not arguing, but anyway.. hope the app soon allows me to lurk around in grad and bookmark posts idc about the rest..

Fair enough. You could always apply again with an explanation that you've learned more. The admins aren't mean, just protective.

yea yea i agree: the thing is i am uninformed about communism and all..i still could comment from my lemm.ee account since its federated but i am lurking quietly with it, also the lemmy link switcher script turns a grad post link to my home instance link, and that way it becomes bookmarkable since its web version, just complaining out of inconveniency sincd such feature doesnt exist on an app..yet..thus i submitted a feature request for the app dev. also i dont want to ruin anyone's vibe with my uninformed comments so hopefully a solution would soon materializes
