That. is a different discord server. Did you not read my post
But I linked a person's comment from the 196cord that said this one had more pedos.
Listen give me one piece of evidence and I'll unaffiliate.
I just gave you. Also, I see you locked a post that literally talks about why 196 cord is not good, so don't tell me you haven't seen it.
I'm sorry but someone just saying "yeah it's full of pedos" isn't evidence at all. I can find some random guy saying anything is true. We're better than this. Don't think like flat earthers or antivaxxers. Hard evidence only.
None of the screenshots you sent are proof of anything in this second server.
Also, that discord link is causing my Discord to have an aneurysm. Is it even still up?
It's worth noting that, on Lemmy, you may end up dealing with a broader potential audience base than Reddit. This puts a bit more of the onus of content control on the user, as admins won't always see everything, and reporting gets a bit more case-by-case.
But instances can also block other instances, so if there's a cesspool server of pedos and terfs, if the instance so chooses, they can blackhole them.
(Not to cisplain fediverse or anything)
There really needs to be a way for users to block instances the same way they can block users and communities. It would ease up some of the calls for defederating (not all).
