Follow-up question: do you wash your feet extra or do you also think that the shower gel water below will fix that?

[โ€“] thisisbutaname@discuss.tchncs.de 23 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Assume nothing, wash everything

[โ€“] brainfreeze@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

I want this on a T-shirt.

Feet need to be scrubbed, not rinsed.

When you take a bath you don't just dip yourself for a bit and then get out

[โ€“] mrgreyeyes@feddit.nl 6 points 1 year ago (4 children)

I'm 196cm tall. Do you know how far I need to go down to wash them? I trust trickling down soapy water will fix that.

[โ€“] bugsmith@programming.dev 7 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I hope to never come in close proximity to your feet.

He's the sole person in many situations!

[โ€“] CmdrShepard@lemmy.one 5 points 1 year ago

Do you not have knees? I'm the same height and just bend my leg up to scrub my feet.

Y'all are nasty if you're not scrubbing everything. Soap running down from above isn't going to do much.

Man, maybe that's it! I am 196cm tall too ๐Ÿ™

You can get shower mats with brush parts. No need to fold yourself in half, just shuffle your feet.

[โ€“] Willer@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

unfortunately shower mats are notoriously gross

[โ€“] Stoneykins@lemmy.one 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Only if you don't clean them in my experience, and they aren't particularly hard to clean. Just give em as good scrub when you clean the shower.

[โ€“] Willer@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

aint nobody got time for that

[โ€“] Willer@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

plus tiny shitass shower

Everything that is below my pp i dont touch. Never have in my life. I just dont get that dirty that often.

You fucking bet I scrub my feet. I rock climb and as most climbers do I wear my climbing shoes without socks, which also means they collect a ton of dead skin cells and sweat which makes them smell absolutely vile. I spray them all the time with a multitude of bacteria and fungus killing products, even wash them from time to time, but there's no real solution. I just treat them as biohazard when not climbing.

[โ€“] stagen@feddit.dk 3 points 1 year ago

Iโ€™ve got really bad calluses so yeah I usually give them a good rough scrub with a coarse washcloth.

[โ€“] socsa@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 year ago (2 children)

If you don't wash your feet then you are not allowed in my house.

[โ€“] Willer@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

i wasnt planning on coming

[โ€“] kairo79@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Are you asking all your guests before?

[โ€“] socsa@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 year ago

Yes it is on the questionnaire, and the interview explicitly covers the definition of "wash your feet" we are using so there can be no confusion.
