Sounds to me it would be more like outlawing grand pianos because of all of the dead elephants - while some people are claiming that it is possible to make a grand piano without killing elephants.

I'm not so sure NATO wants to play directly into Putin's anti-West narrative.

Also why would anybody get nuked lol

I'm half convinced Putin wants NATO to get directly involved so that he can pull out of Ukraine and be like "We didn't lose to Ukraine, it was the West who once again oppresses poor little Russia"

That's literally not how it works, anything else is Russian fearmongering.

Also a bunch of countries fucking up a single country who can't even conquer their neighbor does not a world war make. If it did, the Gulf War would be called WW3 already.

People also often feed bread to birds, but bread is harmful to birds because it doesn't provide the nutrients they need while filling them up so that they don't go find more nutritious foods.

I see no problem as long as the fire department didn't order them to touch it.

War is insane, so it is unfortunate that Russia has unleashed it again. But fortunately we are working on helping Ukraine stop Russia from killing more people and bringing more destruction to Ukraine.

Edit: I love how pro-Russian shills are downvoting me without being able to give a single real reason why one should blame this war on anyone else but Russia.

If the West wants war so bad, why are Western countries dithering so hard about giving equipment to Ukraine? Shouldn't that be profitable for them? Shouldn't the US congress approve the aid to Ukraine in a heartbeat if all they want is to enrich themselves if war is so profitable?

Why is it okay for Russia to profit from war, but not for people trying to stop Russia from expanding their war profiteering? Does every European country need to become a target for Russian war profiteering?

Who was it that attacked Ukraine? Regardless of any past ambitions, even if the west "wants war", would there be any war in Europe at the present moment if Russia had not invaded Ukraine?

Yes, we know that Russia invaded Ukraine because of a mentally ill game by a dude greedy for wealth and power. And now we unfortunately are put in the position of having to stop his quest for wealth and power lest it consume the whole of Europe. Or do you think that the guy hungry for wealth and power will stop pursuing those things because of diplomacy?

And I expect the browser is none of those things.

I just had my first ever meeting with a psychiatrist to get diagnosed with ADHD.

Long story short, they said that I clearly exhibit ADHD symptoms.

But they're not willing to go forward with a diagnosis because, according to them, I seem to be doing alright in my life, so the symptoms are hardly causing me enough problems to be eligible for a diagnosis. (And also because there's no evidence of me having had such symptoms in childhood.)

And I was just sitting there thinking, do you really think I would be here if I didn't think the symptoms were causing me problems in life?

Based on what they said, they expected me to have experienced things like getting warnings or being fired from jobs, ruining my relationships with people, and such. And they suggested the usual things, exercise, the Pomodoro method, etc. As if I haven't tried them already.

My bad for masking so well, I guess.

Anyway, just wanted to vent a bit. I know it's too common a story. I guess the next thing I need to do is to find a psychiatrist specializing in adult ADHD. Once my (still undiagnosed) ADHD lets me do that.
