you are still talking about niche software though

in my office about 90% of people there could be using linux for their daily tasks with no issues.

Publishers are absolutely terrified "preserved video games would be used for recreational purposes," so the US copyright office has struck down a major effort for game preservation in c/games@sh.itjust.works
