Is there any way to recycle food waste without it being 'icky' though? We have a council food waste bin, but it's outside. I don't really want it inside stinking the kitchen up. I don't want to have to bring all my food waste outside every time.

I really think people are overreacting to this.

The ban is of tobacco products to people born after a certain date. They'll still be able to get nicotine products, like vapes. Kids are already moving to vapes and they're significantly less deadly (and crucially less of a burden on the NHS).

This policy just ensures the generation shift away from smoking tobacco. It's a good thing.

Predictions on when we'll rejoin the EU?

I'm guessing by 2035 we'll be actively negotiating a rejoin.

So why can't we get a processing centre in France again? Seems like it would avoid a lot of unnecessary deaths.

Sync has been around for a long time and has loads of customisations. If only you'd bothered to go through the settings before giving up, you'd have been able to make Sync your own.

Have you actually tried Sync? It has significantly better UX than the alternatives currently, and the feature list is unparalleled (I've really missed being able to filter out specific users or communities from my feeds).

That's not really comparable. China bulldozes through land with little regard for the societal or environmental impact. The UK is a place of natural beauty and has laws against doing that. It's right that we have proper surveys and planning permissions needed for this sort of thing, in my opinion!
