Popping in to suggest Ship of Fools and Cult of the Lamb
Ship of Fools was shorter than I'd like but lots of fun. Currently playing through Cult of the Lamb co-op and and we've been having a blast
Prototype 2 (2012)
It's been a while, I can't really remember the game well but I do remember enjoying the prototype games. I can't recall too many that haven't already been mentioned here though
It looks like the train spun out and slid backwards off the tracks on the right

Slime Rancher is a good one. It's bright, fun, has adorable critters and plenty to do and explore. There's a sequel too but I'm not sure if it's released yet or not.
The main character is a silent protagonist though so might not be completely what you're looking for
