I'm learning to make my own clothes, but fabric is expensive and buying patterns from corporations feels like death by a thousand cuts. Anybody know of a resource for shared patterns? Megathread understandably doesn't address this particular need.

Mine is how I flavored my paladin's Spirit Guardians, so everything within 15 ft of me takes a boatload of shiny damage and walks slowly... Think I'm in good shape, if very lonely

Not that new, looks like the same model released with Fallout 4

I wouldn't even mind if we could only get particularly aggressive sea bass

Huh, just watched a 12Tone video today with the exact same title. Good watch and great channel if you're interested in pop music theory

No luck there, though I tried again at your suggestion and the other commenter's (edit: found it in the settings as "Extend Unlock" instead of "Smart Lock")

It's my first Pixel, I switched from a Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G, and there have been some transition aches. I ran into the Android Auto issue this week where the phone would connect to my car for a few seconds then disconnect for a minute repeatedly, and I miss Smart Lock options like keeping my phone unlocked while on home Wi-Fi or while connected to a trusted device. Any Pixel vets know of a similar function on the device? (Edit: Found it! They changed the feature name to Extend Unlock and hid it in the privacy settings.)

Echoing another comment, the phone runs very cool and the camera is excellent. The battery lasts about as long as the Note 20 Ultra's under heavy use: if I'm running ReVanced or Twitch all day, it needs a charge around dinner time. I haven't yet adjusted to using the assistant (never touched Bixby on the old phone, either) so I can't speak to all the AI features added in.

Overall, felt some buyer's remorse early on, but I think I'll come to appreciate the Pixel 8 Pro as I get used to it and optimize it for my usage.

I thought the title was missing a hyphen connecting "anti-child" and "trafficking," but no, turns out dude is a trafficking activist that hates kids

Funny enough, I have a switcher...for my keyboard and mouse. Didn't even think about adding one for the video cables! Do you see any loss in quality with the bridge?

If I can find one with 2 HDMI ports, I'll jump on it. I use my monitors for work-from-home, and my laptop dock only has displayport, so those ports are taken on my monitors. Rather not juggle cables when switching between PCs
