Damn, mine is from December last year and I did not update the firmware because it was working ok out of the box after only adjusting the z-offset and leveling.
Recently I've had some first layer issues that a nozzle swap didn't fix, so thanks for sharing, I've got some playing to do I guess.

Cat8 is pointless with gigabit equipment as far as speed goes. Cat6 will do 10gig, you just had bad cables.
Abp is complete garbage. Use Ublock origin.

He made an amazing game that was his personal project then continued to support it for years when he didn't have to and never charged for added content. Do you have an alternate nozzle to try? My first nozzle didn't last like it should and that threw me through a loop of checking everything thing else. I thought it was bed leveling issues.

Honestly, if the people in charge of 2 now were responsible for it all along it would be just as dog shit as 3. Payday 2 used to be fantastic, but I wouldn't bother anymore.
I wish I could still play it as it used to be.
