It's up to you to decide. Those obligations are usually for the living to feel good. The dead probably don't care that much.
When it comes to inheritance I think this should be respected. If a dead person wants to leave his watch collection to a friend, the family shouldn't interfere.
I am a male (hetero) and I have female (hetero) friends since childhood. Spent a lot of time together, and I have developed a feeling of friendly love towards them (I want the best for them, and I would be sorry if they suffer), but never romantic love. So probably "always" is a stretch.
Unfortunately there's no real alternative (other than personal networking) to get a job in some countries. I hate LinkedIn with a passion, but I am stuck with it. Do you know of a better alternative ?
Don't feed the Russian trolls. There are quite a few here, better not engage with them.
The problem is they are scaring people of from here with their arrogant tone and misinformations.
I wonder how much they are getting paid, or if they are only useful idiots.
