Ultrahand alone is pretty amazing, I've never seen a game do something like that

Worth noting that it's on Humble so you CAN adjust how the money is distributed, so you can select to only give to the charity and Humble

I don't think you'll find a lot of Microsoft love around these parts either lol

Playstack celebrated the achievement on X (formerly known as Twitter), saying, “Incredible news! Balatro has hit the 500,000 copies mark in just 10 days across all platforms!” The post continues, “Thank you for your amazing support — we’re beyond grateful!”

That was such a fascinating video. It's a shame to see what's happened with Selma, especially those houses abandoned after the tornado. Alabama is a state I don't think about often, but the video really showed what a beautiful and historic place it is.

I am happy for you. Hope you enjoy, kyodai!

I appreciate AW1 but the gameplay was pretty repetitive and feels dated today (imo). 2 is a lot more enjoyable

This is true! I always had issues with Xbox over Bluetooth though, so I went with the adapter route which worked well. Granted I haven't tried Xbox Bluetooth on steam deck, only a Windows PC. Does it work well?

If you have an OLED, I highly recommend a dualsense controller over Xbox since it added bluetooth-to-wake. Dualsense has gyro, rechargeable, and better back button mods in my experience. Plus, if you use the Xbox adapter, you have to reinstall the driver's after every OS Update (although I believe there are some ways to get around this)

I think they added a cloudflare captcha. Saw a recommendation for flaresolver but it sounds like that uses a fair amount of memory so I haven't tried it personally

At first I thought you meant Beehaw in general had dropped off trending communities and you were happy to have fewer users 😆

Thinking about it now, the recent months have become much more stable in my experience. Unfortunately, one of those "when things are going right, nobody will notice." So I appreciate you drawing attention to this win.

Thank you for all your hard work!

"While you have repeatedly claimed that the ACP is necessary for connecting participating households to the Internet, it appears the vast majority of tax dollars have gone to households that already had broadband prior to the subsidy," the Republicans' December 2023 letter to Rosenworcel said.

That may be partly explained by the fact that many ACP recipients were getting a different discount under a predecessor program that ended once the ACP was implemented. The $30 monthly ACP benefit replaced the previous $50 monthly subsidy from the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program that started enrolling users in May 2021.

This mod adds an on-brand menu to the GameCube where you can play ROMs off of an SD card. The coolest part is that it piggybacks off of the disc drive instead of replacing it! And no soldering! I'm a big fan of passionate retromod projects like this.

I've gotten a lot more into movie-watching over the past year or two, and I'm ready to move off of my Google Sheets list (I know, I know). The obvious platform is letterboxd, but is there really no established alternative in the fediverse?

It's surprising to me that Bookwyrm enjoys moderate success, but I have not found anything for viewable media, which I would think there would be a greater audience for.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I love watching the ratio go up on my torrents. Is there anything out there that can take a download percentage, seed ratio, etc from qbittorrent and turn it into a live bar graph (or something more artistic)?

Looking for recommendations on a good FOSS journal/diary app for Android. Preferably encrypted at rest. Cross-device sync isn't important for me, looking more for a thought dump than anything.

I'm in the mood for some creepy sci-fi, but Black Mirror can be really hit or miss for me. What should I watch tonight? I just finished the fake star trek one from season 4

I have a fork of Jerboa to help with any login issues for those with accounts still on 0.17.x, until either the servers upgrade or until a newer version allows connecting to both 0.18 and pre 0.18 servers.

Later tomorrow I will include a version with the app name changed so that it can run alongside dessalines' version.

😁😁

Recently purchased a 1TB sabrent card to upgrade my deck's internal storage. I know I could flash a fresh SteamOS image, but since I have an M2 adapter, it would be great if I could just clone the old drive instead, allowing me to keep the games I've downloaded and other software I've installed.

Does anyone have any suggestions for tools or tips for doing this? Thanks in advance!
