and there's so many DIFFERENT purples! Lavender, fuchsia!

TypeError is also a correct response, though, and I think many folks would say makes more sense. Is an unnecessary footgun

yea, crazy that you can raw-dog in Wildermyth. Did NOT expect that cutscene.

Sending you positive thoughts. It won't always be as bad as it is today - that's hard to see when you're suffering from it though.

I hope you can catch a break, take some time to just tread water as you can.

Lean on friends, and find anything to help keep your head above water. It's okay to be struggling - it's okay to be having a hard time. Look for the people who can help you get through things. It's good to talk to people about how you are feeling.

I think the people that spend their time focusing on this are really creepy. They freak out about something that genuinely isn't an issue and demonize people who are just trying to live their lives. There are better things to focus on

"Time to Orbit: Unknown" by Derin Eldala is great. Its definetly written in an ADHD style

https://derinstories.com/2022/06/04/001-the-problem-with-the-javelin-program/

Its an ongoing web serial. Be careful, apparently it made a surgeon miss surgery twice

In my opinion - consistency and form are the most important things.

Do what you can do, safely and regularly - that's the most important thing, and is more important than whatever the program thinks. Listen to your body and focus on keeping the habit.

And seconding what was said - you do not need to go to failure. Feeling tired after or sore the next day isn't bad, but isn't required to be doing it right. If things feel too easy, do more reps or more resistance/weight next time

See, I feel like this was written by a coder. WAY too accurately specific.

[–] lwuy9v5@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago

That's cool. I had no idea there was a python variant for visual novels! https://www.renpy.org/

I know it's a typo, but I like the idea of composting code. A lot of it is turning to shit and has gotten moldy, so the metaphor is apt. Gotta mix it up with some fresh stuff, and turn it around every so often and you'll end up with gold if you can give it the proper time

Oh this dude makes good motorcycle videos.

Another unfun fact (dunno if it's mentioned in the video) is that Teflon is a PFAS that is currently in our environment and ground water in harmful amounts, is definitely giving us cancer, and can't be easily extracted or broken down :(

I hope we can go back to waxed coats and boots or something, soon.

edit:// the video does mention it. Cool video

I feel the same. It's awesome that there's a whole community and content. Lovely to see all the smaller communities too

Why you should know: StackOverflow is facing a mod strike in a similar way as Reddit's mod strike. They are doing this in response to StackOverflow's failure to address it's promises and provide moderation tools
