My preferred fictional outcome is Putin orders a full launch, but almost all the missiles just do a small fart in their tubes as no maintenance was done, and the ones that launch end up reaching escape velocity and disappearing because the people in charge of the silos had long since sold the payloads for yacht money...

Oh so is this 22 like the rolling release Vs that? I should just look it up but I made both these comments on the toilet and hate web browsing on mobile πŸ˜„

Did I blink and miss something... Mint actually looks pretty modern compared to how I remember the release notes, kernel 6.8... I've never bothered with it as it just seemed like a distro to run on old hardware if you don't mind your core being 2 years out of date, where Debian v.xx with kde just made more sense

Interesting..

I think specifically with sarcasm it's an American issue. It's natural to us EU people, we can usually just detect it by instinct.

I've dealt with US people who just fail to detect it both on the phone and face to face. So no chance with text...

Lol was pretty much my first thought.

Some people thought the same about Amazon, providing them a huge marketplace to sell on... Then Amazon cloned the products which sold well and undercut to force those sellers out of business before hiking the prices back up again.

Of my messages and contact numbers? Not doing that

But its easy to find, just click the 3 bars next to the connected device and select SMS messages. KDE connect requires the app installed on the device to pair

KDE connect made communicating with the couple people I know who still use SMS bearable

Who doesn't have an edm cutting machine and a metal sintering 3d printer in the cupboard under the stairs?

I'm sure you can get both in a bundle on wish for 14.99

I still don't get this level of rage. I just have a USB C adapter on the end of my ear buds, problem solved, one less physical port to have to replace as I keep my phones until they're dead dead.

I guess you could argue you need an extra cable on you to plug direct into a HiFi system, but I cant even remember the last time that was something I'd want to do.

Aldo in the case of a repairable phone and having replaced the USB on this fp4, I struggle to see where they would have fit an extra daughterboard for a 3.5mm jack to make it repairable

Well if you believe that you should look at the times lawsuit.

Word for word on hundreds/thousands of pages of stolen content, its damming

Most 'gaming' chairs are trash material covering shipping foam - garbage.

There are exceptions though. A couple years ago I bought the least gaming looking full leather seat from noble, same foam as good car seats, leather very good, and got it on sale for a silly price. 2 years later it still looks the same as day 1 and the foam hasn't started to deform yet, I work in it all day.

All my back pain from previous shit chairs was gone in a week too. After that I'd have been happy to pay double.

As in most markets, there are always diamonds in the rough, the hardest part is just identifying them.
