That's not entirely wrong, but it would be very dangerous for left and centrist voters to not vote democrat now, because democracy has never been more at stake. You can safely start voting for third parties, when the right is weak or not interested in destruction of democracy

Qatar is literally surrounded by water on 3 sides. It's water from the Persian Gulf, so I think it's salty. So the only problem is efficient and sustainable desalination. Sounds like a more reasonable approach to me.

On eoronews they said russians deported >19k children from the occupied areas. euronews.com video latest-news-bulletin-october-3rd-evening at about 1m55s . Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an individual link, so I can't make a post about it. Maybe someone else can.

Das DIW war öfter in der Kritik eine reine Lobbyorganisation zu sein, in der das Wort "Institut" Seriösität vortäuschen soll. Alles was die sagen ist 100% gekauft.

Yeah, thar's not a counter argument; just demonstrates the usability gains.

Btw, did you open the browser tools (usually F12) of a desktop browser and check if it's the server response or the rendering, that takes long for you in the network tab? I'm asking, because for me wikioedia isn't that slow.

In Wayland, window managers are usually called compositors, though. There aren't many good. I thought about making one, but the keyboard layout stuff seems not to work out-of-the-box with the reference compositor Weston, which made me pause my efforts.
