And that's a bit of a break here. We hit 100+F regularly over the summer, and its 82 F and 85% humidity in the mornings. No AC is bad.

This hugely depends. Most places will happily split it.

The Microsoft Minecraft login thing is getting pretty insane.

You don't even need much cash. An old N40L and four 250gb ssds will get you 750gb running Truenas and raid.

I hear but have not verified that they will connect to an open network without letting you know.

There are seriously a bunch of bots here saying all exactly the same thing about Goodlock

I have some really old ones running Lineage that still work great. They used to make solid phones. The tablet has been good but its software sucked.

Oh hmmmm

Well i havent noticed it doing anything weird. I'll keep an eye on my firewall.

The two replies below me about the Samsung app look really fake.

OK i have a stock tab s6 and it doesn't do either of those thankfully. It sucks in other ways. Have to keep this one stock but with lineage it is so much better

with the demise of ESXi, I am looking for alternatives. Currently I have PfSense virtualized on four physical NICs, a bunch of virtual ones, and it works great. Does Proxmox do this with anything like the ease of ESXi? Any other ideas?

I'd expected this but it still sucks.

Zoneminder is a pretty solid setup for IP security cameras, and the zmninja app is really nice too. I had tried it years ago but got back to it recently with some sketchy IP cameras. I just put them in their own VLAN, no Internet access, Zoneminder does motion detection and event recording, and so far I'm quite pleased with it.
