(They mean folk indoctrinated into their ethonationalist world view, usually white.)

Yup. It’s got a stupid amount of bloat for what it is used for, but it’s aggressively “okay.”

Will take it everyday of the week instead of taking meetings in person.

I’ve lived with someone who came out as an unapologetic white Christian supremacist shortly before moving out. He definitely held these beliefs and cited “the old ways things were”.

Recall, some dispute marital rape as well.

I’m the opposite. Maybe my sleep debt can be that bad, but the one hour shift, where night comes when my working day is over, helps me so much separating the two parts of my life so well. Besides, getting up early with sun is wonderful!

Maybe — such a line of thinking confuses me, and I’ve seen some stuff online similar to that before. It’s simply not helpful nor Christlike. In my view, one’s faith shouldn’t be wielded self-righteously and in judgment of others.

I’m not sure if this was a literal invitation, but I’ll poke my head out.

It depends on how you interpret scripture. I was raised in a “non-literalist” faith, and some of these beliefs have come to interpret references to “demons,” and what not, being misconstrued as mental illnesses. I believe Richard Dawkins coined the phrase “God of the Gaps” which is not too dissimilar to what is happening in this case.

So the non-faithful, along with the faithful, could still be afflicted, technically, however I’m fairly confident mental health treatment may be better for them over “driving out the demon” so to speak. Though some denominations would call it heresy for me to say that. Lmao.

As for Tucker… I’m skeptical he cares for the Word. He certainly doesn’t act as though he does, in my view.

Jokes aside, the M1 lines could play the game with wine/x86->ARM layers pretty well! So I’m curious how it would perform directly on the metal without all of this.

For me it’s the constant suggestions of other communities and posts on my feed of joined subs.

Next thing I knew my feed was slowly filling up with rage bait, which I never had a problem with a third party app, and I’d close the app angrier and outraged than when I started.

It’s nicer here, lol.

Do you mean “glazing”? Cause the homie reads as such.

I haven’t come across the term “glizzy” before so it might be new.

What? I booted my Linux machine sometime last year and my Mac gets rebooted for updates.

Not all of us use Windows, my friend.

Wasn’t there an uptick in black male voters too?

Idk, that comedian said some unambiguously racist shit.

And black folk too, I think.

Not super clean up close, but it looks good from afar!

My first army was nids -- what a lovely change of pace!

I still need to get some oil to blacken the grooves between the brain folds, but this is good enough to play!

You all were so receptive and kind with my last post. It's been honestly a blast painting and building all these little gants. Picked up the Hive Tyrant (non winged), Tervigon, the new Neurotyrant, and Combat Patrol. Haven't painted the really sweet models since I want to hone hobbying on my mass of fodder Tyranids tend to run.

After talking to the Nid's Discord, 80 Gant's is the target I'm trying to hit. Good lord, I don't know how you "wide army" folks do it 😅

Learned a lot -- but my nids turned out better than expected!!

(I still don't know what to do with the tops of their guns, but idk)

Y'all have a "painting techniques tutorial playlist?

I'm looking into starting WarHammer 40k, and I combed through advice related from other posts over the years. Found a faction that I vibe with and their aesthetic (Necrons). Additionally, I started to read through the Core Rules and their codex found in the sidebar as well. I just have a few questions related to the 9th -> 10th edition change.

Will figures that I buy right now (and could potentially be 9th) be legal in 10th edition play? Does the rules/codex changes merely change the 'stats' of the figures? Are there any Necrons I purchase that won't exists/be legal in the rules in 10th? (Idk, say an older figure isn't 'supported' or w.e.)

Pardon these questions, I come from a Magic Background and there's a concept of rotation from that game and I didn't know edition changes were the equivalent.

I notice that a '10th ed' Combat Patrol is slated for winter of this year for my skeleton robots, would I be better served waiting for that or acquiring figures right now?

Cheers for any responses.

As a DM of many years I've collected battle maps, and I could post them here to fill the community with content. This issue is I did not make them, and I wondered how the community felt about posting them here.

Here's an idea of how to do it ethically:

  1. Include their watermark (obviously)
  2. Include a link to their socials (this one might he hard for me since my only socials are Mastodon and Lemmy)
  3. Ask the creator for explicit consent (this one would be extremely difficult, as above. Additionally, the creator may not exist anymore.)

Any thoughts? I didn't see rules in the sidebar so I figured to just ask. Thanks!

Genius.
