It's great, Larcenet's style is on point, I liked his interpretation on some details (the story is still the same), still depressing all around
J'étais censé randonner ce weekend vers Cauterets, heureusement que j'ai annulé parce que j'aime pas marcher sous la pluie
Firefox because of the addons, also because it syncs (weirdly, but still) with Firefox on my pc
He talks to them alright: https://www.lemonde.fr/en/politics/article/2024/09/05/far-right-given-kingmaker-role-in-macron-s-prime-minister-search_6724909_5.html
Marine Le Pen's phone has rung frequently. President Emmanuel Macron has been asking for the far-right leader's opinion. What does she think of Xavier Bertrand for prime minister? Nothing good. Le Pen has a fierce hatred for Bertrand, the right-wing Les Républicains (LR) president of the northern region where is elected. And she let Macron know it. So, the representative of the moderate right is no longer a frontrunner for the job.
According to the Elysée, Le Pen was to have her voice heard, like the other party and group leaders in the Assemblée Nationale, on the advisability of appointing the former Brexit negotiator to the role.
A pariah in the July 7 legislative elections, where the spirit of the "republican front" to block the far right was rekindled, the RN has now taken on the role of kingmaker. "What a disgrace!," commented David Djaïz, former rapporteur for the president's National Council for Refoundation
🌚👨🚀🔫👨🚀 "never has been"
Strike on Saturday, that's the only constant so far
Y'a aussi le RN aurait sauté sur l'occasion pour dire regardez on est le seul parti d'opposition
If you'd like to know Barnier's stances recently :
On 27 August 2021, Barnier launched his presidential campaign.[28] [for the 2022 elections] In particular, he wants a three- to five-year moratorium on immigration to the European Union.[29] He proposes to "immediately stop regularizations, rigorously limit family reunification, reduce the reception of foreign students and the systematic execution of the double penalty ". On economic issues, he wants to raise the retirement age from 62 to 65, increase the working week and tighten the conditions for access to social assistance.[30] Many media organizations noted that Barnier sounded like a eurosceptic and Brexit supporter now, a sharp turn form his previous positions.[31][32]
La motion de censure sera claire pour les électeurs j'espère, on a une assemblée divisé en deux désormais, ceux qui soutiendront la politique de Macron, et ceux qui veulent s'en défaire.
Édit : en fait on est devenus des américains...
Well he's shown that he clearly does not want to run a left wing program, and would rather befriend the far right than giving up his power. That being said, he could try but nobody from the left union trusts him.
He's essentially stuck in a corner, the only thing he's done since the results of the parliament elections is try to gain some time, it's been almost 60 days of no government.
Finally! Now I can switch back to the "normal" Steam Beta build for other experimental features, Steam Family was on a separate beta build which didn't allow me to try other things...
