At least six million people are expected to sip on the best of Bavarian beer over the 16 heady days that make up the centuries-old festival Oktoberfest in Munich.

At least six million people are expected to throw up the most expensive of Bavarian beer over the 16 heady days that make up the centuries-old festival of degradation and sexual harassment in Munich.

Government plans to force food manufacturers to put “not for EU” labels on all meat and dairy products sold across Britain next month have been indefinitely postponed after warnings that the scheme could cause “chaos” for producers and suppliers.

The oldest residential building is from 1550, but there is a church where the oldest parts are from the 11th Century.

True, but that's because the Google ecosystem is much more than Geo data. I agree typing that into OSM search won't have any effect, but with OSMand for example I can filter search results for glutenfree and it works (if the restaurants have that specific key). Less comfortable, but not impossible. Much more 'problematic' IMO is OSM missing the possibility to rate places and add photos of meals and menus.

It's almost the same speed on my device which has much lower hardware specs. You can open an issue on github, or look if it is already mentioned in one of the other 3,000 (!) open issues.

Everyone has a plumbus in their home. First they take the dingle bop and they smooth it out with a bunch of schleem. The schleem is then...repurposed for later batches. They take the dingle bop and they push it through the grumbo, where the fleeb is rubbed against it. It's important that the fleeb is rubbed, because the fleeb has all the fleeb juice. Then, a schlami shows up, and he rubs it...and spits on it. They cut the fleeb. There's several hizzards in the way. The blamfs rub against the chumbles, and the...plubis, and grumbo are shaved away. That leaves you with...a regular old plumbus.

If you find a way to do this, it would be cool if you can share it!

Oh neim!

Now that we're a week in and most people have probably repaired their PCs from the shitty Windows Update breaking GRUB I have some question.

I have a dual boot as well and thought I was safe, as I installed my Linux Mint on an independent disk. My friend laughed and told me that won't protect me.

I logged into Windows some days ago as I had to write a document in MS Word for university and the windows update told me it was ready with a very threatening red dot in the tray. I expected it to take control over my PC and to reboot 10 times, do some typical Windows stuff, but nothing happened.

Now I have this update waiting and I am scared my Linux will break. I know there are fixes out there, but is there a way to prevent it BEFORE it happens? Can I somehow upgrade the vulnerable GRUB version?

Thanks a lot for your help my fellow penguin fans.
