I don't think it'd have to be either or. People can join both or just one it doesn't really matter, If it ends up being another dumpster fire then people will move off just like they did X.
Most people will go where most of the people are going and that's blue sky not Mastodon.
I do remember there was a sub about it. Don't remember it infecting much beyond that though after the first few weeks. Perhaps I'm misremembering.
I wonder if that's why Google advertisers. They are probably the most recognized company on the planet so they definitely don't need the eyeballs.
I was going to say that's incredibly on brand for Disney. Everything I have ever heard about Comcast seems to back up this move.

The same happened when everyone moved over from Dig to Reddit back in the day. It's really annoying for like 2 weeks with everyone talking about it, and then it calmed down.
I've noticed quite a lot of devs are moving over to blue sky. I feel like there's some blog post I've missed or something which everyone has paid attention to. Why are they doing it now? Twitter has being shit for ages.
If it's Bethesda they just provide you with the basic horse, only sometimes do all its legs fall off, you have to mod it to have additional functions, and stable legs.
