The one problem I can think of is it might get so cold that the compressor motor is frozen solid, can’t start and ends up damaging itself.
But the compressor shouldn’t be running if it’s that cold, except maybe due to a defrost cycle but IDK if chest freezers do that or just normal fridges.
She kinda did that in Samaritan Snare when they meet the Pakleds.
In terms of skills I moved in the opposite direction as the tools got more advanced. There’s nothing stopping you from learning if you’re interested and have the time.
In terms of career development I think it’s a big mistake. There aren’t a ton of jobs there and it’s not getting better.
