That's a fun one.

I have an Illusions of Grandeur/Donate deck that can't do first turn, but can take someone out all at once (if I'm super lucky, like all my decks it very rarely wins)

There are of course also Magic: The Gathering decks that can do that on a lucky first hand.

My favorite is this one, which in the abstract can do literally anything a computer can do. Yes, You can in theory run Crysis on a Magic deck. During your opponent's turn.

Like an arrow, but fruit flies like a banana.

Wind turbines also.

But some solar does focus it on a tower to make steam to drive a turbine.

I'm talking long before digital channels existed. (In the US anyway)

Even before the 2000s they started showing a blue screen instead of static.

That wasn't just a digital or flat panel thing.

But of course old sets were around for a long time.

Because if they did consider themself Latino, it might sound more like a personal complaint instead of just a general question.

One of my friends in middle school had the last name Morris, so I think of it as a last name.

Absolutely.

Genetically I'm around 50% descended from people of a culture that I simply wasn't raised in, which is associated with a religion I never practiced (as opposed to the different religion I left)

Based on looks I could easily identify as that culture and strangers wouldn't question it. They also don't question my lack of doing so.

Not what you asked for, but my solution is mice that take AA or AAA batteries, and use Ni-MH rechargeables in them. I keep all the spare batteries charged, and take the charger and some spares with me when traveling.

In fact I no longer buy one-use AA or AAA at all for anything, mostly because they leak and destroy stuff.

Hamilton is a last name. I won't doubt that there are some people who have it first (not checking), but they probably have two last names.

That example image reminds me a bit of the Astral Express from the game Honkai: Star Rail

The links inside the linked post are relative links, such as xkcd which is a link to /c/xkcd@lemmy.world

Boost does not open them when tapped, flashing an error instead.

There are unfortunately some subreddits which are still the best place to find timely info about certain topics - for example video game subs run by the developers of the game. Lemmit is a way to subscribe to those while not giving Reddit any more "engagement" or ad views.

The bot that runs Lemmit only posts on its own instance, so users like me only see it when we subscribe explicitly (or the All view I guess, but that's a mixed bag already. Edit: and each user could choose to ban it if they want)
