Unfortunately i think steam removed support for team fortress 2 on Linux a long time ago. I didn't stay long on Linux. I mean i use headless ubuntu and debian for a bunch of projects but not on my desktop.
unless you're trying to get a programming running that wasn't built for Linux

When spez doubled down and Reddit imploded i moved to lemmy. I also discovered mastodon. But then i realized the reason i used twitter was to follow certain people/accounts none of which are on mastodon.
We had a reason to ditch Reddit, because they forced everyone off our beloved third party apps. But twitter didn't have this kind of meltdown. Im only a consumer on Twitter, and its still working fine. No reason to quit. The rate limit is dumb but it isn't the end of the world.

I opened the mastodon app. I clicked to select a server and create an account.
It gave me an error about timezones not included in the list.
Then i remember i tried it 2weeks ago and i never took the time to troubleshoot it.
I'm still unable to access mastodon

12 years. Was thinking about leaving when they announce the api death blow. Actually decided to leave when i saw how reddit admins blatently lied about the apollo dev situation.
