I was using dual monitors back before LCDs became the norm. I always had a splitting headache from looking at the screens. It went away with LCDs.

TIL why YouTube buffers when my network is fine. Set network to prefer IPv4 or disable IPv6 in c/til@lemmy.world

If you are using Firefox or any of the forks or an adblocker; that's probably why it's buffering. Freetube or NewPipe is the way to go.

Here in Sweden your workplace will pay 80% of your salary for the first 7 days, and then if you are still sick, you need to get a doctor's note and then the state will pay you instead.

Also if your kid is sick you can be home with 80% salary paid by the state.

Just let them play minecraft instead. Minecraft dungeons could be good but it's only 4 people at the same time tho.

Imagine if all these discount programs were linked not to the card, but to the bag. Bringing the same rugged bag with a chip could've become a new normal. in c/showerthoughts@lemmy.world

All big stores here sell sturdy bags for like $2 that will last for over a year. My oldest one is like 5 years old at this point and it still works great.

I use Nobara which comes with drivers for Nvidia and stuff just works. It's very noob friendly.

The "i" in Linux and Linus have different pronunciations even when they shouldn't. in c/showerthoughts@lemmy.world
