Technically, an ATI Radeon 9800 as that was my first custom built computer in 2003. However, the ATI Rage IIc was the gpu inside my first desktop computer, an iMac G3 in 1998. But the first one I used was the VGC 12-bpp palette graphics of the Apple IIgs, where I was first introduced to computer games and upgrading the accelerator cards and memory to play new games with more demanding requirements in 1994.

Another case of Left Handed liberation.

Edit: It seems my half-jest comment wasn’t well-received, haha. To clarify further, the percentage of left-handed individuals worldwide has remained relatively stable at around 12% for decades. However, it wasn’t always this way, and it wasn’t that long ago either, if you examine graphs showing the population of left-handed people over time. This isn’t because the frequency of left-handedness has increased; rather, it’s because our data collection and reporting on this aspect has improved significantly. As culturally left-handed individuals have stopped being persecuted for various archaic reasons, primarily religious ones, our understanding of left-handedness has also improved. Consequently, it’s not surprising that the number of individuals with autism (or any other condition) is “increasing” as we continue to refine and better understand the characteristics associated with autism. There’s lots more factors here, similar to the spike and subsequent decrease of lead-related afflictions as the world successfully moved away from leaded gasoline.

It’s just about playing the character as the persons’ own gender identity. Most common, of course, being video game characters as opposite genders. So like, lady master chief or what if zelda was a man, etc. But I’ve seen an androgynous/enby kratos that was super well done! Gender-bent / gender-bending is just the term that has stuck for that.

Well he did already have a run at it. Maybe we are getting lucky and he might lose, go away, and just be a skidmark on history instead of a complete shit pants situation. I’m choosing to believe the time travelers who stopped the assassination attempts from succeeding are just making sure we have skid marks instead of shit pants.

No real difference, all groups are different in their own way. The core group, the group around that core. Some say best friends.

Good friends, core friends. Good memories. Doing good things, helping. Toss in a cup of stability and a couple hobbies. If you’re practicing or just recently discovered practicing adhd, another dozen hobbies and a therapist/counselor.

It’s called gender-bending, at least in my local cosplay groups. It’s done frequently and usually turns out great because of the passion and care put into it. Go for it!

For ableton, you can run it in wine and it can work well enough to do things. It’s an OK experience at best and flat out doesn’t work at worst. Kiss your VST plugins goodbye with that though, gotta stick to the built ins which do all work when it’s working overall.

Otherwise, check out bitwig studio, made by ex ableton devs and natively runs in Linux. Still gonna be hit or miss on 3rd party plugins but the app is on par with ableton as an experience. Price in the same range too. Best short explainer is ableton meets logic in terms of usability.

[Cries in Dragalia Lost]

I have been using a plugin recently in Rider that basically hooks most features of the app to notifications that teach me the current keyboard shortcut for said feature. It has some customization options such as needing a threshold of usages before prompting, reminders, etc. It’s even gamified a little bit by tracking how many times you successfully used the shortcuts and how much time you estimatedly saved.

I really like this plugin and I’m wondering if anyone knows of a similar plugin for NeoVim? I have been exclusively using NeoVim at home for terminal file edits to help learn it and I’m getting better slowly but I just figured maybe I could accelerate this with something helpful like that.

If this doesn’t exist, does anyone have any offhand resources for getting started with NeoVim plugin development?
