Expeditions are a main draw.

As an "open universe" game, it helps to set your own goals. Many people work to find the "perfect ship". Others try to max out their frigate and fleet.

I decided to build a farm and mining operation that generates everything needed for top-tier manufactured goods. 20 min of base-hopping and crafting now nets me roughly one billion. This is enough to let me not worry about funds for a while.

Another fun thing to do is wander about with a friend. My brother and I routinely do derelict missions for fun.

It just boils down to "find what you enjoy doing and do that."

This is still in my "Co-Op Games Bin" with the "Forbidden" series.

All I can here now is the song "Stress" by Jim's Big Ego.

I'm still hoping for combo planets.

Or just not tell us and surprise us in the middle of a MO.

They look good, though.

I had a cat that, for 16 years, would unerringly launch herself onto my groin as I lay in bed. Swapping places with my partner did not help. Only her passing released me.

At the very least, they have technical specs for their resins.

I would look up Reynolds Advanced Materials (they make Smooth-On). They cater to prop makers.

I do resin casting as it pertains to dice. Sadly, I have not found any communities where I am not the only poster.

I know of some dicemaking discords, but you might need to poke your head into Reddit (blasphemy to some here) and find external links from one of their communities.

As to basic questions for small scale casting (even my big pours are under 100ml), I am happy to answer.

I've got stacking tubs (~4L and ~9L) with metal sheets on the bottom, as I have magnets in my bases.

You should be able to get adhesive sheets of magnetic material that your bases will stick on.

The Baron DeWhyskers.

Here's hoping that he won't become a 13+ pound shoulder cat like the last one.

Adopted from a friend's barn cat. Our current cats are... displeased for now.

I had been out of 40k since 3rd (sold armies, etc), then some buddies got back into it 10+ years ago. Not having the funds at the time, I built an army from shrink-film.

I had to print out images to trace and do the maths so the final result was passable. This is why I made a conversion ruler (original length in blue, final size in red).

I never got around to vehicles or walkers, but I was designing some slot-together bits.

I swear, any more magnets and my army will interfere with pacemakers.

Two actual cat beds and a "house" in the frame. She is sleeping on a shopping bag.

The only cat bed she likes is the hanging one with her stuffed animals.

Added AK's "Streaking Grime for DAK" as an oil wash.

Close-ups:

Dry brushing done. All that's left is the trim and final details.

Dinosaur costume edition.

I'm going to be building up layers of UV resin as a sludge pit. I may be adding some bones as well.
