This is my go to for things that I can easily move around. It works well and minimizes use of chemical cleaning agents.

"those same wealthy capitalists are the ones calling the shots in the first place"

That's a good reason to take money out of the hands of the state.

I watched the video, it's information I'm well aware of. This video presents theories that ignore critical aspects of our monetary system. For example this analysis fails to consider the cascading effect of interest payments on the accumulated debt. Which are approximately one trillion dollars per year at the time of me posting this.

"...tying a State’s sovereign fiat money to a commodity belongs in the dustbin of history."

I've got to ask, what makes you say this? Especially when scarcity is one of the most critical properties of money, and the governments of the world have shown their willingness to print money infinitely. Which makes modern, unbacked, Fiat currencies virtually worthless in the long run.

Bitcoin does present a possible solution to the monetary woes of Argentina.

Mileis election signals a growing awareness that central bankers are just scammers and getting off the gold standard was one of the biggest mistakes humanity ever made.

There's a lot of technical answers being proposed but you really need to keep in mind your target audience. Do they actually care how it works at all, or are they less technically minded.

Take the email comparison, it makes an excellent example for people who know how email works but most people don't know so it's not helpful as a comparison to them.

For the layman it's probably best to stick to a simple description, such as: The Fediverse is community organized social media, it works the same as Reddit/Twitter but it's not owned by any company. There are a few extra steps when you first sign up, but it's well worth it for the extra control you get.

We have age minimums because the mind has not finished developing and we should also have age maximums based on the average age cognitive decline sets in.

Until we are able to properly identify outliers it's probably best to stick with the subset of the population with the highest probability of meeting the minimum qualifications for the position.

Most people don't want to be pirates they just don't want to pay for an inferior service. You want people to pay then make a product worth paying for that's prorated by country, and they gladly will.

As an example of just how bad it is, pirate streaming sites have sort by date, country, IMDb score, genre, etc. but most paid services don't have any sort feature beyond genre. This effectively makes paid services unusable for a lot of people.

I use gsmarena as it tends to the more technical side. Probably a good balance with what you've suggested.
