Reminds me of the beginning of the pandemic when he tried to dismiss the initial uptick in covid cases as a migrant worker problem.

I've thought about it. It's a lot harder to pull off when rent is $1500 a month.

Good point. I guess that depends on a quality over quantity promise, which I guess would also fit op's idea.

Also worth noting Israel is very advanced with respect to cybersecurity. Considering they provide tools like Pegasus to US intelligence agencies, I'm sure the agencies value this relationship very much.

War always has civilian deaths. It's an unfortunate consequence.

This is different. Gaza is being flattened by the indiscriminate bombing. Its ridiculous.

That would make business side incentives more aligned with the user side, but I could never see anything with a high barrier of entry accumulating enough users to actually be usable.

Maybe its free at first and as it grows in size and activity the cost goes up? That feels kinda sketchy

I see this more as a tool for people who notice reduced battery life and want to do something about it. Currently they essentially need to guess if the battery is the issue and get it replaced to find out.

If you notice your battery life shortening, the health check can either confirm that you will see improvement with a new battery, or it will tell you your battery is okay, and reduced life is due to software changes or increased usage.

Wilson said in the statement that when the plane landed in Hong Kong, he “immediately went to customs officials and called their attention to the issue.”

If his statement is to be trusted, he did not try to get away with it

He desperately wanted to be speaker. He was pissed off when it took him many votes to get the role, actively negotiating for the job he should've been a shoo in for.

Then even once he had it, he was doing anything he could to appease the freedom caucus, including the unilateral impeachment investigation and the shutdown threat.

In averting the shutdown he essentially resigned, but at that point he was a broken man who was tired of selling his soul to appease the far right. Lets not act like he didn't do everything's short of shutting down the government to avoid this.

You didn't have to do anything?

I rode it out as long as I could, but the day came where the only post in my feed was a reddit post about the API changes
