Shoutout to the Sythstrom Deluge.

Open source. Battery is easily replaced, it's an 18650. Packed with features and since it's gone open source the updates have really ramped up.

You know it's getting good updates when there's 45 minute videos scratching the surface of what's new in the beta.

I don't know. His death is wrapped in a whole lot of personal/domestic stuff as well.

I don't doubt he'd have hated the way covid affected the industry, but in NYC it kinda just accelerated the death cycle that most restaurants circle. He'd already watched his city Disneyfied.

It's a true shame he's not here to document some of that change.

I know he'd have hated to see the way that covid decimated the industry in a lot of ways, but there's a story of what was lost that he'd have done some justice to.
