I follow the same philosophy. Avoiding spoilers, there was a part of Act 2 that I thought was just the next conversation in a series of conversations, but it triggered a significant event that blocked me out of several things I had on the to-do list. I had no idea it'd trigger that, and imo I don't think it's reasonable that it would happen, so I did scum that.

Never understood the hurry of the crack groups.

You serious?

Obviously the sooner they crack it the sooner they can sell to impatient pirates. The market is only going to decrease over time, and if you're beaten to the punch you lose out on loads of customers.

The syntax strikes me as a little clunky, but I do like the idea. Coming from Python I've used generators a lot (which in my obviously biased opinion is a clearer name that "iterator" here) so recognise the value in having something like that in the language.

Same. Whenever I see messages like his it just smacks of denial / coping strategies. "It's all those promiscuous women's fault I can't get a girlfriend" fuckin grow up.

"Get your evidence away from my beliefs"

This is just provably untrue. You might have more relationship-weighted encounters off-app, but to say that it's unhelpful if you don't want a relationship is false.

Not sure if you know this but on the off chance, that's a deliberate choice by the devs, so it really won't ever be on sale.

I used to know a guy who worked oil rigs I think six months of the year, earned a ton, then spent his off six months playing EVE Constantly. I think that might be close to the optimal way to play tbh.

You just unlocked that exact same memory, holding the right stick "just so" to make the camera usable. I seem to remember needing to lead turns in the same way too.

Excellent suggestion - it's much better.

I suspect I echo the thoughts of many users, but to me, RIF really was reddit. It was an app I downloaded from a friend's recommendation in probably 2013, and is usually the first install whenever ri switch phones, also boasting pride of place right below where my thumb naturally rests on my home screen.

I have never had an issue with the app, and have always loved it's appearance and usability. Everyone that worked on it did a fantastic job, and I will miss it.

All this to say, thank you and goodnight RIF.

I'm on a Pixel so not sure if what I'm about to say is possible for everyone, but I used "Digital Wellbeing" to set a usage limit of 0 minutes for RiF, then put Jerboa in the same spot. Working for me at least to not have to completely change muscle memory.
