Saint Winnie the Pooh

Seriously the onion can't keep up with reality.

It's still overhyped and being shoved into every app, service and system that exists whether it adds value or not.

Its definitely not going away, there's some real value to LLM/AI (much more than crypto anyway) but make no mistake there's going to be a significant correction where the bubble bursts and AI becomes right sized.

This I never understood.

Amazon basically has an international presence. Amazon could easily allow a seller to ship to a local Amazon logistics location and then Amazon shipping could just handle the rest, perhaps with a slightly higher shipping fee.

Well with sports games at least its "a realistic part of the experience"

Like when you watch a live sporting event on TV, there's always commericals in-between the action. In that sense it fits the meta.

Also, sports games are the worst, pay 80 bucks every year for an updated roster and tweaks to the mechanics.

This is exactly it.

Cable TV was originally meant to be TV with no ads, see where that has come.

Streaming services were meant to be on demand shows/movies with no ads, see where we are now.

YouTube premium will enshittify the exact same way. How do I know this? They already won't listen to paying customers and content creators who bring customer to the site. They do customer unfriendly moves like removing dislikes to make a quick buck from big corporations. They will make it shittier given the chance.

Because during bad times the ones that make bad decisions don't survive or at very least are removed from positions of power.

Bad times by themselves do not create good decision makers.

Not my OC. Just wanted to bring attention to a little underated comic strip. Great artwork. Different tone and topic to what's commonly posted here. Enjoy.
