That is good and all, but that thing is to bulky for my needs. I need something that I can quickly move from place to place. The problem is the stand. My case already includes a stand, so I don't need one.
You do have a point. I agree with you in that one. I'm looking more for something with portability, so the one you posted seems like a good option. Since I don't need a bulky dock like the official version or the other ones around.
Hey folks. I have been wondering about buying a dock or USB hub for my steam deck oled for a while now. That way I can connect and use a mouse and keyboard. The problem is that I don't know which one to buy. The official one is not only expensive but also a bit bulky for my use. I would like to have a mini option. What are your recommendations for someone like me?
Yeah, that would be a little problematic for something that is necessary on the go. Can you not just use a hardware key to prompt the paraphrase every time you boot ?
Not abad option. I'm thinking on just replacing Steam OS with Bazzite and use the deck as my primary gaming device en backup workstation. But I would need to see if it is viable. If not maybe just using tails and booting every time I want to do something work related would be better.
The only problem that I had is that Steam OS doesn't offer any full disk encryption. But I think I could just solve that with a cryptomator container. Even if an attacker gets access to the deck then they should not be able to decrypt the container.

You know what, if that inclusion was done in a way that makes sense for the game and the lore then I don't have a problem. But we have saw time and time again that they do it to have the "See me, I really care about the problem" type of thing. And I say this as an integrant of the same minorities this companies try to gain support. We don't need a forced bullshit like this, we need just normal things and a normal inclusion without makes feel forced or unwanted.
