I tried it but it didn't work. The APP does override the website.

Pretty much the title. Some of us want to reduce the amount of time we spend browsing NSFW communities, but as it stands it's too easy to just turn the slider off.

I'm requesting an improvement in the options where you can make the slider permanently locked upon user request (similar to what Infinity for Reddit app has done).

Thanks.

To be fair, there's an argument to be made that "I'll just pay Google one last time in order to get my privacy back."

Be nice, this isn't the app next door.

I try to be more positive on this platform but with these scumbags, I cannot.

Thank you for making this effort, by the way. The community on Lemmy versus the other platform we all know about is night and day because of people like you.

And I absolutely agree. I went to read a bit about the Salvation Army and I had no idea about their stance. I'm glad I came across this post. Truly appalling.

That's right. The thing that anti-government people seem to forget is that, left unchecked, corporations are much worse than oppressive governments. Democratic Nations need to be vigilant of both.

Might I introduce you to the Data Hoarder community? Those unsung heroes who keep humanity afloat and ask for nothing in return?

I know you got some flack for this. But I absolutely love this type of humour.

Trusting porn componies with peoples private info" vs "porn shouldnt be easily accessible" are not the same thing.

The political face of conservatism has changed, but make no mistake, these are the same people. Political strategy has always been a thing, and policy positions change according to the direction the wind is blowing.

Same. I will abstain from having an opinion on this case, lol.

Haha. Fair point!

Makes you wonder which came first: the psychopathy or the CEO position. Could be an interesting study to be performed, for sure.

Thank you, friend.
