XII is so much fun to explore. I didn't even beat it on the original PS2 version because I kept getting distracted.
Although my personal favorite to replay is VIII because there are multiple different ways to build your magic up (to actually get stronger).

The left is judged based on their absolute worst (and often just a strawman of the left) while the right is judged based on their best (or a vague sense of what the right represents to them).

Sometimes it's just intelligence. They're very proud of their ignorance and hate.
Anything that makes "white kids" uncomfortable or "guilty" is being banned which 100% includes the mention of slavery.
Or maybe parents shouldn't tie their identity to traitorous states that murdered Americans so rich people could own black people.
I think he's testing loyalty in the party. I think he wants exactly who he has chosen.
