They couldn’t advertise and their reach was limited but they could still post. Now they are outright banned around the world on Meta platforms.

The patient has insurance but once you have insurance you have to find healthcare professionals who accept your insurance, doctors don’t have to accept any insurance plan. The insurance company here has a list of health providers that accept their coverage (we call this in network) and you can go to them for care. The insurance company’s list is poorly maintained so many of the listed providers went out of business, stopped accepting the insurance plan, or stopped accepting new patients.

If you go to a doctor that is out of network, the insurance company charges you much much more for the visit if they cover it at all, or you may have to pay completely out of pocket.

I think DeSantis was banking on Trump not running for a second term because he was in jail or too busy golfing or choked on some ketchup steak. Then he stubbornly pressed on when Trump entered the ring and there was no way he was going to outTrump Trump.

RFK Jr. wants to send more bombs to Gaza and he has also contributed to plenty of preventable deaths with his years of spreading antivaccination disinformation.

His remarks on leveling Gaza are in the first result I found when I looked up his stance on Israel: https://www.timesofisrael.com/2024-dark-horse-rfk-jr-questions-gaza-ceasefire-defends-israeli-offensive/

It was in the midst of claiming Venezuela dumped all of its criminals in the US. In Trump’s view Venezuela is safer than the US since America let all the Venezuelan criminals in through that open border.

What kind of deranged people are buying bats as ornaments? How disturbing.

They are already claiming she shouldn’t be eligible because she has no children of her own, only step children. No guy ever has been told he should be ineligible for office over not having children.

August was always the planned date of the Democratic convention when a nomination becomes official, it hasn’t been postponed.

People have been spreading rumors that there is pressure for Biden to step down ever since his underwhelming debate performance. There is nothing remotely official about him actually planning to step down.

The question then becomes how well does this work in place of traditional plastics? Does it have the same strength and water resistance? It needs to hold up to moisture in order to be used for takeout. If food partially breaks it down, people will be ingesting it so toxicity is also a concern. It will be interesting to see where this goes. Even if it can only replace shopping bags, that will still be a huge improvement. So many bags blow away in the wind and I live in an area that made it illegal for cities to ban single use shopping bags.

Lots of American roads are like this. Generally you are better off making a right turn and then a U turn at a traffic light. I don’t bother turning left at an intersection like this unless there is no traffic.
